customers alike!

Seasons
of change: Seasons Events and Heart of Texas Arts and
Crafts Show are now under new management.
Invested
in continuing a Texas tradition, Kelley Rutland now owns and operates
Seasons Events and the Heart of
Texas Arts and Crafts Show as of November 2010.
She has a journalism degree from Texas A&M University, College
Station and has worked in advertising, editing, print production
management, marketing, retail, and writing since her graduation
in 2003. A hand-made arts and crafts enthusiast since she was
a child, Kelley was born and raised in Plano and attended the
Heart of Texas Arts and Crafts Show
for several years prior to purchasing the business. Her passion
for arts and crafts combined with her professional experience
and marketing skills drives Seasons Events to excel in providing
the highest quality shows and the best value to vendors and customers
alike.
The
Heart of Texas Arts and Crafts Shows are juried
events. We convene a small panel of jurors that carefully selects
our vendors to ensure an interesting and diverse mix of arts and
crafts to create the ultimate high-quality shopping experience.
In addition to vendor selection, we also carefully select upscale
venues for our events. All shows are inside, air-conditioned,
and have free parking.
In
the beginning:
Heather Lawrence and Jayne Kraus organized the first upscale arts
and crafts show at the Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas.
The show was entitled ‘Christmas in September Shopping Extravaganza’
and drew customers from all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area. These
small, high quality shows continued for two years before Heather’s
parents, Ed and Earline Walters, took over ownership and operation
of the growing business. Under their guidance, the show expanded
its vendor and customer bases and grew into larger facilities.
They continued with the ‘Heart of Texas Arts and Crafts
Show’ for five years before retiring.
